WV Resource Center has created a Hygiene Kit aimed at equipping educators to support girls/boys in need. Studies have shown one in four girls struggle to afford period products. They will often miss class or just in general skip school. The experience can be extremely embarrassing for girls, and it is often educators who purchase supplies to keep girls in class, moving forward with their day. These kits contain the products a girl will need to stay in class learning, growing and thriving. Through program, we pack each kit with purpose, and disburse with dignity, providing them to the educator directly who know how to get them out to the students in a way that make sense.
