BACK TO SCHOOL BASH 2025

The Back to School Bash is our 1st annual community wide event to kick off the 2025-2026 school year. Our goal is to help prepare 247,000+ students in all 55 County Public Schools begin the upcoming school year with free backpacks and school supplies while having fun interactive activities.

HOST A COLLECTION BOX

Host a Back-to-School Bash Collection Box where anyone can donate a variety of school supplies.  A marketing kit and fliers will be provided that explain how their donation makes a difference for children in our community. The Box will include suggestions for their donations, such as pencils, erasers, notebooks, etc. For questions, please contact info@WVresourcecenter.org

VOLUNTEER

There are many ways to get involved, and volunteers are needed to make this event a success. You’ll be able to sign up as an individual or with your group or business. Monetary Donations or Gift Cards

We receive a tremendous amount of donations from the community, but every year we fall a little short in some requested items. Monetary and gift card donations (to stores like Target, Walmart, Staples or OfficeMax) will be used to purchase items that we may need to ensure every child has all their supplies. Become A Vendor

This Pop-Up Series is a one day, 6-hour event, which will consist of a diverse community of food, retail, and non-retail vendors from West Virginia. This is a huge community engagement event.
