WV Resource Center invests in our public-school educators so that they can equip and inspire each and every student in their classroom. We will be opening our first location in May 2025, we are planning on giving away over $25,000 in supplies and resources to support our educators, schools and students.
WV Resource Center has committed to easing the personal financial burden of the educators by providing FREE resources for their classroom and students. Our FREE Store offers essential supplies at no cost to the full-time educators and staff who impact our students in 55 West Virginia School Districts.
Here at WV Resource Center, we support all 55 West Virgina School Districts students by equipping, inspiring and encouraging their teacher. We also believe that the educators should not have to spend out of pocket to ensure that every student receives an excellent education.

The FREE Store is open to all Full-Time Educators and staff who work with our students in our public schools. You must have a @k12.wv.us email address to make an account. Yes. Before you can start shopping you need to stop by our customer service desk and register as an educator. You will need to have the following:

Once you are register with us you will receive a membership that will be required to shop at the FREE Store.
Our focus is core supplies and more. Beyond those “core” supplies (pencils, glue, scissors, markers, etc.), we regularly receive new shipments of great items for you to use in your classroom and to pass on to your students. From traditional school supplies, office supplies, and math and science resources to craft items, room décor, books, furniture, and more, we hope you find amazing things for your classroom and students!!
Each time you visit the FREE Store, you will notice on the shelves the limits on certain items and categories of items. The limits are subject to change based on inventory fluctuations.
Each time a educators shops, they leave the FREE store with an average of $375+ in classroom resources and educational tools.
You are eligible to shop once per quarter.

The FREE Store will reopen for the educators in July with the following hours:
Normal hours will start back in September.
We will open again for teacher shopping in the second week of July. The month of June and first part of July will be used to prepare the store for the new school year.

Yes, but it is done on a case-by-case basis with our mission to support the students in our public schools from Pre-K through High School in all 55 WV School Districts.
